I'm not new to online dating. My DMs started poppin back in the days of Black Planet. One day I decided to join ALL of the dating sites and blog about my experiences. There's a ton of sites and apps but I don't think I have the patience or storage space on my phone for all of them. So, I think I'll start with POF, Bumble, Soul Swipe and Black People Meet.
Now, before you ask ... I'm not opposed to meeting someone "in real life" ( or blogging about it ). My work schedule doesn't let me get out and be social as much as the normal person does. Plus as much as I like to get out I really don't want to be out in bars, lounges and clubs EVERY weekend. Hell, I'm getting old. Online dating just makes sense. Why not? It doesn't matter if I meet someone in person or online. I just want to meet someone.
Ultimately, I'd like to meet a nice man and maybe turn this blog into a love story. As you can see from my first blog post this will definitely be an adventure. I hope its an adventure that ends Happily Ever After.
